Cyber Madness Event Partner:
The North Dakota Cyber Madness High School Tournament is open to all North Dakota high school students comprising of teams of up to five members and a coach. Whether students are beginners or have prior experience in computer science and cybersecurity, the tournament welcomes all levels of expertise.

Virtual Play-In Round: January 18-20th
Virtual Play-In Round opens at 9 a.m. CST on January 18, and will close at 9 p.m. CST on January 20, 2024.
In-Person Finals: February 15-16th at Bismarck State College
For this year’s competition, Palo Alto Networks is hosting a Cloud Security based competition. A new course, labs, and competition assessments will be released soon for teams to prepare. As soon as the preparation course is released, the information will be sent out to the coaches and teams.

Virtual Badge
Students participating throughout the competition will be awarded a virtual badge signifying they have engaged in the ND High School Cyber Madness event, which is based on content from the Palo Alto Networks Network Security Fundamentals online course. The competition tested material in the areas of:
- The Connected Globe
- Physical, Logical, and Virtual Addressing
- Packet Encapsulation and Lifecycle
- Network and Endpoint Security Technologies
- Networking and Security Principles
